The World of Corvassa

Long ago, the realm was known as Corvassa, “The Land of Vassals.” It was a vast and powerful kingdom, but peace never lasted. At its heart stood the Crownwright, a mysterious and wise creator. To stop endless quarrels and ensure that only the greatest could rule, he forged The Royal Codex — a book of laws and trials that would decide who was truly worthy of the throne.

The Codex declared a single truth: only one King may rule the realm, and only the strongest and wisest can claim the crown.

From this law, four great kings rose. They shared the land but not the dream. Each desired the throne for himself, for the one who held the crown would command not only Corvassa, but the world beyond.

War followed. Kingdoms were built and broken, alliances made and betrayed. Pacts were made at sunrise and broken by night. The land shook with their battles, towers fell like sand, and trust vanished like smoke. Friend turned against friend, and brother against brother. In those wars, strength alone was never enough. The Codex taught a harder path: win with mind and move, not blade and scream.

When the dust of war finally settled, only one king remained. He was not chosen by birth, but by trial, as the Codex demanded. His crown was proof of Corvassa’s eternal law: every move is war, and only the last King standing may rule forever.

Now, in this game, you become one of the four kings fighting for Corvassa. Every move you make is a battle, and every choice can change your fate. The Royal Codex watches over you, guiding the worthy king to the throne. Will you be the last king standing? Will you claim the crown and rule Corvassa forever? The battle begins now.

“A land of shifting alliances and silent knives. Betrayal is currency, loyalty is weakness, and in the end… only one King will stand.”

Corvassa is a chess-themed elimination card game for 2 to 4 players, focusing on strategy, alliances, and betrayal. There’s no board, or very complicated mechanics – just strategic plays until only one King remains.
Inspired by chess’s hierarchy and tension, Corvassa transforms classic pieces into an intense card battle of cunning and strategy where every move is war.
